Party in the North Pole is an exciting house party-style holiday celebration filled with serendipitous moments and immersive events. It’s an original online experience designed for connection, play, and party. For teams of 40 to 300. In 2020 we hosted 6 of these for companies such as Thunes, Zühlke, and Alasco. This year we’re ready for more! 🥳

You and your team travel to the North Pole for an epic house party. You pass by base camps and ice fisher’s villages, only to arrive at a massive igloo. Welcome to the North Pole Mansion! Once you’re there, you can celebrate like in the good ol’ days: get a warm welcome from the hosts, play some penguin beer pong in the main room, watch an impromptu rap performance, hop to the bar for a drink, and lounge around for the kitchen party, and move from room to room to discover what else you might find. Each room is a new experience! 🐧

 

🚀 Case Study: Signavio Sales Kickoff (SKO)

We had the epic task of spicing up a sales kick-off for a team of 300+ people! Our mission was to make it into an engaging, playful and energizing experience for everyone involved. Weeks of work turned to a wonderful 5-day event full of play, sharing, fun & bonding and juicy surprises. (Two weeks after their kickoff Signavio got bought by SAP!)

 

👇 Some things we did

  • We assisted in coming up with a strong theme for the event and designed creative branding to support the theme.

  • We planned and facilitated a series of playful bonding sessions in between the more “serious” sessions to get people energized and talking. 🎈

  • We produced customized “Oscar-style” videos for each award ceremony and invited some very “special guests” to announce each of the different awards.

  • We coordinated cooking boxes with Hello Fresh & hosted virtual Cook-Off sessions. 🍳

👇 What they didn’t expect

  • We got David Hasselhoff to record a personalized video announcing one of their award ceremonies. ⭐️

  • We invited a talented freestyle rapper to host an interactive performance during the kickoff ‘Wrap Up’. We asked a few questions and used Mentimeter to visually collect answers - live. As the questions came in the performer would sing/rap off according to the audience’s replies.

  • We prepared a company-specific quiz that lived during the whole event and split people into 5 groups across the entire company. At the end of the day, points would be added up and displayed on the kick-off’s website.

The Result

We just concluded a 5-day sales kickoff and it was a SMASHING HIT! Thanks to Epic Llama. What started as a serendipitous attendance as a participant to his Notworking open-to-all Onion Hour sessions, transformed into 2 months of creative jam, manifesting in a cultural fest at Signavio attended by 400 people over 15+ sessions.

SKOs at Signavio have been energy-packed events with hi5s and hugs, training content with an overdose of fun & concerts with highly engaged and undistracted participants. But that was 2019. I did not believe that getting anyone excited, energized and motivated over any zoom meeting was possible. But Stefano and his team did just that, and more.

Stefano had a good mix of lightweight games, fun, and networking sessions that helped colleagues to get to know each other. And On the other side, his techniques enabled job-related content sessions to be NOT boring at all. In fact, sessions buzzed with engagement; Q&As and active participant-led commentary on content being shared.

Stefano’s high energy, moderation and facilitation is contagious, and #1 reason for participants to look forward to each of his sessions. If there were Zoom Oscars, EPIC LLAMA would be the all-rounded winner for Acting, Direction, Script, and Cinematography.
